About Luxembourg Allergy Network

Supporting people living with severe allergies in Luxembourg

Luxembourg Allergy Network asbl was founded in 2015 by individuals and families who understand the challenges of severe allergies. What began as a small support initiative has grown into a community dedicated to helping people feel more confident and less isolated.

Today, LAN raises awareness, improves understanding, and offers practical support to individuals, parents, schools, and the wider community across Luxembourg. Through education, shared experiences, and partnerships, we work to make everyday life safer and more inclusive for people living with allergies.

What we do

Building a safer allergy community

From community events and support groups to education, training and advocacy, we work to make life with food allergies safer and more manageable.

  • Family events & community activities – Easter events, Halloween parties, family walks and other opportunities to connect with others.
  • Online support groups – regular meetings where families and individuals can share experiences, ask questions and support one another.
  • Allergy awareness & training – training for teachers and school staff, awareness sessions for children, and allergy training for workplaces, communes and other organisations.
  • Educational resources – developing practical information and materials for schools, parents, children and the wider community.
  • Conferences & awareness events – organising and participating in conferences, talks and events to raise awareness about food allergies.
  • Advocacy & awareness – working with decision-makers, healthcare professionals and organisations to improve policies, access to care, safety and inclusion for people with food allergies.
